PRIVACY POLICY

The OlioAtlas iOS app does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. All data you enter — oils, tastings, photos, notes — is stored locally on your device. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. Your palate is yours.
This privacy policy applies to the OlioAtlas mobile application (the "App"), operated by Kayla Mackelprang, doing business as OlioAtlas, located at 175 1/2 W Norwalk Rd, Norwalk, CT 06850, United States.

The OlioAtlas App does not collect:
The App has no user accounts, no login, and no server-side component. It operates entirely offline.
When you use the App, the following information is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
This information never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to any server, shared with any third party, or accessible to us.
If you attach a photo to an oil, the App uses Apple's system PhotosPicker to let you select an image from your photo library. The App does not request or receive access to your full photo library — only the specific image you select is imported. The imported image is stored locally as part of the oil record and is not transmitted anywhere.
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics providers, advertising networks, or tracking tools. It does not use Firebase, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any similar service.
The App does open two external URLs via Safari when you tap links in Profile → Settings: this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions. When you visit those pages in Safari, standard Netlify server logs may be generated (IP address, user agent, timestamp). This is standard web-hosting behavior and we do not use or analyze those logs.
The App does not collect any information from any user, including children under 13. The App is suitable for all ages and is rated 4+.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you control it completely.
Because we do not collect or store any information about you, most privacy rights (access, correction, portability, deletion, objection) do not meaningfully apply — there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. Your data lives on your device and you control it directly through the App and your iOS settings.

We do not collect, sell, or share any personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). California residents have the right to contact us at the email above with any questions regarding this policy.
Because we do not collect or process any personal data, we do not act as a data controller or processor under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The App is available in the EU and EEA on the same terms as elsewhere.
If the App adds features that collect or transmit data in the future (for example, cloud sync or a community layer), we will update this policy and post the revised version at the same URL before those features launch. Material changes will also be announced in App Store release notes.
